CLASSICAL SCRIPT ADAPTATION

Adapt existing plays or turn any classical work of fiction into a stage script. 

Learn how to transform a stage script (shortening, character streaming) or to adapt a non-dramatic work of literature into a theatre piece. You will get advice on the choice of text and will be guided through the process of adaptation. The course is table based but might include some performance work as part of the adaptive process. At the end of the course you will have a script ready for performance.

Two hours per week, eight weeks.
