SPRING/SUMMER 2016 SEASON LAUNCH PARTY
16TH OF MARCH 2016
To officially launch Scena Mundi's spring/summer 2016 season with our high fashion inspired Twelfth Night at the French Protestant Church in Soho Square, we hosted an exclusive party at Vout-O-Renees, one of London's most eccentric private members' clubs in the heart of the city.
In classic Scena Mundi style, the evening will be peppered with poetry reads and a short teaser performance of Twelfth Night, along with the opportunity to meet the company bringing this season to life. The event will culminate in the exclusive first announcement of our summer show. Patrons of Scena Mundi are encouraged to join us for an unforgettable evening, and of course, a limited number of tickets are available for the event through the club, for only £10, including a glass of wine. Join us in London's quirkiest crypt on the 16th March 2016.
TWELFTH NIGHT OF MARCH FUNDRAISER DINNER AND PARTY
Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate the opening of our Spring/Summer 2016 season with 'Twelfth Night, or What You Will' at the French Protestant Church in Soho Square. We hosted an evening of 1920s themed frivolity at Putney Pies, one of West London's most rip-roaring underground bars.
Step into a wild world of Prohibition hilarity as we take a final dip into 1920's jazz and sass. On the Twelfth Night of March, a Saturday y'all, we are going underground at Putney Pies where a hidden Vault Bar will play host to a wickedly devilish party to kick us into a Spring frenzy!
Expect a delightfully outrageous scene with flappers and folk letting go of those wartime woes in a music-filled den. Bourbon and moonshine flow freely in The Vault Bar, but whatever you want we serve. DJ Fly will be whipping up a party with all that jazz while selected fashionistas are sent down the runway to show off their style. Overhead 1920's visuals will flash across the ceiling from silent movies to cartoons.
Pick up the pearls or a trilby, or get creative... big and bold gets respect so be brave if you have an alternative '20s thang! Care to join us for dinner? There will be space for 45 diners to enjoy delicious homemade dishes served from the Putney Pies set menu with live jazz and visual delight to get the air buzzing. Long tables seat 10 so create your own dinner party or make new friends. Just give us the names of the people who have booked and we will ensure you are seated together.
